Marcia Mc Clendon, J.D., SPHR, SHRM-SCP, has a genuine passion for our beloved sorority. Her expertise includes leadership development, talent assessment, stakeholder engagement, culture, inclusion, and organizational effectiveness. She believes there is unity in diversity. Her belief in that is based on I Corinthians 12:12-18 which aligns well with the Sorority’s mantra because it indicates that just as a body has many different parts, the church is one body made of diverse individuals who need each other to function effectively.
Within Louisville Alumnae Chapter, Marcia has served as Chair of the Nominating Committee, Chair of the Economic Development and L.E.A.D. Mentoring Committees, a member of the Membership Intake Team, and Assistant Treasurer on the Executive Board.
Marcia believes unity in diversity will help ensure our region has a strong bench of talent available to positively impact the Sorority’s programmatic thrusts and objectives. Marcia is poised to serve and ready to lead!
Marcia has been happily married to her husband, Miran H. Mc Clendon, Ph.D., for nearly 36 years!
