Soror Marcia McClendon is a collaborative, results-oriented leader committed to advancing the mission of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated through service, inclusion, and meaningful engagement. She brings sound judgment, integrity, accountability, and a proven record of leadership.

Soror McClendon has also shared her time and talents at the regional level as a member of the Investigations Team, Cohort II of the Delta Pearl National Leadership Academy, the Midwest Circle of Leadership, and Regional Conference Committees.

Professionally, Marcia is an attorney and Vice President of People Resources for Goodwill Industries of Kentucky, where she leads a team of approximately 70 employees and helps advance the organization's mission of removing barriers to eliminate poverty.

Marcia is dedicated to contributing to the enhancement of the Midwest Regional Nominating Committee’s process in establishing the most diverse slate of qualified candidates as possible.
